Farmer Wants a Wife Abroad second season offered a welcomed challenge for sustainability practice, as the central idea of the show requires international travel. Production was located in Turkey, Italy, Norway, Iceland and Finland.
Measures were taken to lower the productions' carbon foorprint:

hiring crews locally to minimise travel emissions as well as to increase international collaboration

favouring group accommodation and providers with a sustainability certificate

using grid-power in stead of generators

favouring plant-based catering when possible

Producing Talent Suomi offered a fascinating challenge: how could this beloved format that had been on hiatus for almost five years be re-invented in a way that makes it feel current while promoting social responsibily and celebrating the unique abilities and personas of all participants.
