Suuri seikkailu / The Great Adventure

Suuri seikkailu is a adventure reality format developed by Fremantle Finland and airing for the first time in 2001. In 2023, after a 20-year break,  it was decided to bring it back to life.

Being part of the re-development process from early on, I was able to push for the decision to make sustainable values part of the core of the production, setting ambitious goals for production methods as well as content.

As a result of the effort, the the finished production:

• received Albert "Sustainable Production" -certification
• managed to cut its estimated carbon footprint from 50tCO²e to 13tCO²e, and
• was celebrated as a pioneer for a sustainable non-scripted television show within Fremantle networks globally.
